Bought a new pump and filter system on a friday. Went home and set it up. It ran fine for 3 days, then on monday morning we noticed it was off. When we went to turn it back on the pump motor shot sparks out and started smoking. We took it back to this location which is where we bought it to do an exchange. We told the employees. They plugged it in and turned it on for roughly 5 seconds. Then they wanted to take the cover off but did not have a screwdriver. We had to go out to our car and get one. We told them that the sparking and shutting off did not happen immediately every single time. When taking the back cover off, you could see the charred area of the motor from where it was burning. We asked them to keep plugging it in to create the sparking but they said they were not going to do that. They said there is nothing they can do and that it is a good pump. The employees have little to no knowledge of the products. They tried to tell us that our wire needed to be 220 but the pump clearly states it needs 115. Then after we shot that idea down they told us our outlet was bad. We replaced it as soon as we got back home and guess what? It sparked and shut off. When we took the pump home plugged it back in it sparked and shut off within 22 seconds. Also want to add that the noise this pump was making was awful and loud enough that you had to yell over it. This time however we took a video of it. Then we called customer service in Dayton and sent them over the video. They told us to bring it in and they will give us a new one. Dont waste your time going to this location. Our new pump is working great now.

For the 1st year and a 1/2 everybody seemed to be very helpful. After making several big purchases, anytime we would go into the store for information or with any questions everyone always seem too busy sitting around playing on their phones or putting together puzzles to be of any help or to be bothered. WILL MOST DEFINITELY BE FINDING SOMEWHERE ELSE TO HELP WITH NEXT YEARS POOL NEEDS.
