Calcium Plus
DESCRIPTION:
Swimway Calcium Plus (calcium chloride) increases the total hardness of pool water when levels fall below the recommended levels of 100-300 ppm.
JOB FUNCTION:
Calcium Plus will increase the total hardness of pool water. Deviation of the recommended 100-300 ppm can cause the pool water to be either corrosive and/or scale forming.
FEATURES:
Used properly to maintain hardness levels between 100-300 ppm will prevent corrosive water and scale forming with regards to hardness.

APPLICATION:
Add Calcium Plus to the pool through the skimmer only when the filter is running. One pound of Calcium Plus will increase the hardness of 10,000 gallons of pool water 11 ppm.

The calcium and magnesium salts present in the pool water make it “hard” for soap suds to form, thus, making the terms hardness and hard water.
