Enzyme Pool Chemicals
A highly effective line of enzyme based chemicals are now being used to break down harmful organic contaminates present in pool water. They reduce the amount of traditionally used chemicals in pools (clarifiers & algaecides) and have no ill effects on swimmers. Sanitizers are used to kill harmful bacteria, but also break down organics. By using enzymes to take care of the organics, sanitizers are free to kill more bacteria resulting in less sanitizer use and a pool that is friendlier to swimmers and equipment. Enzymes are also good for removing stains, if the stains are caused by something organic--such as leaves. They break down stains at the water line caused by excess oils, lotions, and dirt. When regularly used, enzymes can break these oils down inside your filter system, making them more effective and allowing the media to last longer.
